To rise in the East and set in the west
Yet still, while our lives turn around
Walk for words or backwards with plenty of choice
Yet silent, no movement or sound
In awe as the colours forment on display
Hot coffee and silk stirring sweet
The road leads me onwards and beckons my name
The end that I don’t want to meet.
This journey, so pretty, so subtle with shade
Hot sunshine caressing my face
The breeze works its magic, the hand to be waved
While greeting a friend you displace.
The chirp breaks the silence, the scent adds some sense
The road keeps meandering on
Look back and reflect that the colours are bright
And onwards a start-ling / beautiful tense.
The yellow road stretches out towards the distant hills from front left to centre, as the sun sets behind two trees, pushing their shadows towards the viewer
